Having good health is fundamental to a person’s wellbeing and the City of Sanctuary Southampton recognise that seeking aid in terms of health for refugees and asylum seekers can be very difficult.

As part of the health stream work we do, we help asylum seekers and refugees by:
  • providing them with advice and information on how to find and approach services needed.
  • attending support group meetings to understand and tackle barriers which may be holding an asylum seeker back from receiving help.

If you would like to get involved with the City of Sanctuary Southampton health stream project, contact Jill Ghanouni at [email protected] for more information.
