Stephen PressĀ

Stephen Press was the Chair of the City of Sanctuary Southampton group until his passing in August 2018. As well as making a huge impact in this role, he also managed a local community centre that became a key hub for refugees, asylum seekers and other marginalised groups in the community. He worked famously long hours at the centre, but always threw himself passionately into the work of City of Sanctuary.
In his memory, City of Sanctuary Southampton will be holding an annual lecture series on a topic relating to refugees and migration.
